Project Civil Engineer – PE or EIT – Land/Site Development Projects (Hybrid Position)

Role Summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. The role involves leading land/site development projects across the USA, including hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping centers, and educational campuses.

Accountabilities
  • Prepare site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
  • Design grading, drainage, stormwater systems, and utility layouts
  • Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3 or more years working in land development or site civil projects
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant national/state standards and codes of practice
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required) – EIT or PE certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and related tools
  • Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and regulatory processes
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
