Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineers, designers, surveyors, and technicians to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Support construction administration activities, including review of shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, pay applications, change orders, and project documentation.
• Assist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, scopes, and work plans.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable local, state, and federal engineering standards and regulations.
• Support projects from initial planning and design through construction completion.

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This position will support the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects for public and private-sector clients.

The ideal candidate will have 5-15 years of civil engineering experience, with strong expertise in municipal water, wastewater, sanitary sewer, stormwater, and roadway infrastructure. Candidates who are local to Kalamazoo or within a reasonable commuting distance are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
