Job summary

Job description

Duties include preparing designs, contracts and drawings for: water, wastewater, roadway paving and drainage projects under the direction of a professional licensed engineer and senior staff; performing technical tasks relative to the assigned area of responsibility; assisting in site investigations; managing the construction phase of capital improvement projects; and conducting pre-bid meetings to provide answers about construction sequencing, working day assessments, construction safety and allowable construction materials. Duties also include providing primary assistance and oversight to engineering technicians and city surveyors on technical software; training and directing employees in research, drafting and design; and answering questions and providing information to the public, City departments, contractors and other agencies. Duties will encompass regular interaction with the other City departments and outside agencies.

PAY GRADE EN26 / FULL PAY RANGE $7,388 - $10,416 PER MONTH ($88,656 - $124,992 ANNUALLY)
