Job Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee construction projects such as water and wastewater treatment plants, hydraulic systems, and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design, project specifications, and safety standards.
• Prepare, review, and update technical design documents and project reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering professionals to ensure project success.
• Conduct feasibility studies for proposed projects, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Apply principles of civil engineering to solve complex water and wastewater system problems.
• Utilize computer-aided design software for creating blueprints and project plans.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Participate in professional development to stay current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Must hold a PE license or EIT certification in Texas.
• Experience in civil engineering, especially in construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of water, wastewater, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Knowledge of construction laws and regulations.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
