Job summary

Electria is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead civil infrastructure design for Solar and BESS projects across North America. You’ll drive site layouts, foundations, and supporting structures with hands-on project management.

You will coordinate with third parties, manage QA/QC, and act as liaison with DOT and other agencies, ensuring compliant, on-time project delivery in a dynamic renewables portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with Solar or BESS projects.
• 4+ years in the renewables industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage third parties and Owner's Engineering services throughout project delivery.
• Support tender processes, contract negotiations and due diligence.
• Manage the RFI and submittal process (via Procore) and oversee QA/QC procedures.
• Act as primary contact for road improvements with outside agencies (DOT, commissioners, etc.).
• Conduct site visits/inspections and supervise contractor proposals and works.
• Capture and share lessons learned across projects.

About the Role

You’ll be the principal for specifications, design and construction of civil infrastructure across the portfolio. From site layouts and foundations to supporting structures you’ll be combining strong technical expertise with hands-on project management.
