Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer in Baton Rouge or New Orleans to lead impactful civil/site projects. You will be involved in designs for residential, commercial, and industrial developments, including water distribution, stormwater systems, and roadway geometry.

The ideal candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license or the ability to obtain one, and 5-10 years of design experience. This role offers a chance to work closely with leadership and a clear growth track in your career.

Civil Engineer (5–10 Years) – Site Development | Baton Rouge or New Orleans

What You’ll Be Building

• Civil/site designs for residential, commercial, and industrial developments
• Water distribution and wastewater collection systems that serve growing communities
• Stormwater systems including drainage modeling, culverts, ponds, and reservoirs
• Roadway geometry and site layout that shape real-world infrastructure

What You’ll Own

• Full-cycle project involvement—from concept through construction and closeout
• Grading, drainage, sewer, and geometrics design
• Permitting, zoning coordination, and agency approvals
• Engineering reports (drainage studies, site selection, preliminary reports)
• Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and stormwater analysis
• Cost estimates, bid support, and contractor coordination
• Construction-phase activities (RFIs, submittals, problem-solving in real time)
• Client interaction, public meetings, and project presentations

What You Bring

• BS in Civil Engineering
• PE license (LA) or ability to obtain
