Job summary

Wilson & Company's El Paso, TX office is seeking a Civil EIT to support municipal infrastructure projects across West Texas and Southern New Mexico. You will assist with roadway, drainage, water, and utility design and prepare construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, have an EIT or can obtain it within six months, and possess 0–3 years of civil engineering experience. Excellent communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• EIT certification or the ability to obtain it within six months.
• Zero to three years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or other CADD software.
• Familiarity with municipal roadway, drainage, or utility projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with roadway, grading, drainage, water, wastewater, utility, and site design.
• Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Support the preparation of specifications, quantities, and Engineer’s Estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, surveyors, architects, utility providers, and subconsultants.
• Assist with site visits, bidding, and construction-phase services.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project team members.
