The Axel Group is seeking a Civil EIT for our client’s team in Knoxville, TN. You will support land development projects by assisting with grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design, and help prepare civil construction plans to obtain permits for residential subdivisions and multi-family projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Active E.I.T. registration in the required state, with the ability to obtain a P.E. license.
• Minimum of 1+ years of engineering experience related to land development projects, with residential experience preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office; experience with ArcGIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support land development projects by assisting with grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design.
• Conduct feasibility studies for project acquisitions, including concept planning, zoning analysis, and preliminary grading.
• Assist in preparing civil construction plans for residential subdivisions and multi-family projects to obtain permits and approvals.
• Support project managers with engineering design tasks, technical reports, and construction phase services.
