Job summary

HDR is seeking a Civil Coordinator/EIT to contribute to the detailed design of roadway projects on a team of project engineers. The role involves alignment, profile, geometrics, drainage, and the development of plans and construction estimates.

Preferred candidates will have MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Roads engineering software experience (OpenRoads, Civil3D). An EIT is preferred, but candidates may enter the employee-owned culture at HDR with career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Work with project engineers on detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.

In the role of Civil Coordinator/EIT, we'll count on you to:

• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects
• Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates
• Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d
• Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
