ACO, Inc. Civil Drafter position in Mentor, Ohio, provides technical product assistance to both internal teams and external customers. The role emphasizes drafting, layout interpretation, and productive collaboration with sales and engineering to resolve on-site issues.

The candidate will apply AutoCAD and related tools to develop designs, analyze problems, and communicate solutions clearly to vendors and customers. This role requires detailed understanding of blueprints and technical procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a technical or product support role.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience interpreting product design, layouts and basic drafting room practices. Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar systems

Responsabilités

• Provides technical support; provides recommendations on product selection, proper installation procedures, makes calculations, customized design drawings and aids when solving on-site problems
• Collaborates with product competency centers to develop ongoing operational plans, developing an understanding of product line and serves as an expert of niche product in assigned market
• Works closely with Inside Sales Representatives and Area Sales Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
• Elicits customer feedback to help guide future product and service direction
• Performs field failure analysis and solution evaluation for production product issues
• Applies technical and product expertise when addressing customer concerns or needs
• Comply with company policies and procedures
