DEPCOM Power, Inc. in Katy, TX is seeking a Civil Designer to join our growing team. You will develop civil design for PV and BESS project sites, coordinate with engineers, and prepare drawing packages for field use across the country.

The ideal candidate has AutoCAD drafting experience with sheet-set manager, Civil 3D, and solid drafting standards. Experience with GIS data, ALTA surveys, and design workflows will help you contribute from day one.

Qualifications

AutoCAD drafting experience including sheet-set manager, blocks and x-references.
Civil 3D civil design experience.
Understanding of general drafting standards.

Responsibilities

Develop civil design of PV and BESS project sites, including grading surfaces and drawing packages for field use.
Coordinate with engineers to ensure technical design requirements are represented in the drawing package.
Manage day-to-day workflow to balance multiple projects in development.
Provide feedback to the CAD Manager on CAD processes and effectiveness.
Extract points and surfaces for field use during construction.
Review GIS data to ensure compliance with civil design in the field.
Analyze contours and topographic data to produce preliminary grading surfaces.
Review ALTA survey documents to assist in base file development for drawing packages.
