Job summary

Amentum's Denver office is seeking a Civil Designer II to develop engineering drawings per project criteria, codes, and discipline standards.

Under supervision, you will support design supervisors, prepare BOMs, ensure quality, and coordinate with other disciplines, while traveling may be required.

Minimum requirements include US citizenship, Associate degree in Civil Engineering, 3 years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in AutoCAD with Civil 3D and able to prepare civil drawings.
• U.S. citizen; ability to travel and pass Security Clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Design Supervisor or Lead Designer, develop engineering drawings.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines and project teams to meet specifications.
• Prepare complete information for design details and materials lists.
• Ensure designs align with project requirements and schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and supportive design services to team members.
