LaBella Associates seeks a Civil Designer in our Richmond, VA office with 2–5 years of civil design experience. A hybrid schedule is negotiable, with in-office presence preferred.

We provide comprehensive civil engineering services for municipal and private clients, including site planning, construction administration, and development of construction documents. The role encompasses design, calculations, drawings, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of civil design experience with a BS in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation/InRoads is required.
• HVAC? Not relevant.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and perform detailed calculations for civil projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and staff during detail design to produce drawings and specs.
• Support bid phases and assist construction through closeout.
• Communicate effectively using oral, graphic, and written forms.
