Qualifications

Position Overview

The role involves planning and designing municipal stormwater projects, including preparing construction documents, calculations, reports, and other supporting materials for design plans.

Responsibilities:

• Creating construction cost estimates, developing traffic control plans, preparing erosion control plans, and collaborating with clients, utility representatives, surveyors, real estate agents, structural and geotechnical engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Engaging with property owners to communicate project details, potential impacts, traffic management, utility considerations, and easements.
• Attending site meetings with engineers, clients, contractors, and others to provide updates, discuss schedules, resolve conflicts, and gather project information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of transferable design experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with GIS
