Job summary

gpac is seeking a talented and motivated Civil Design Engineer to join our growing team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role will design land development and infrastructure projects from concept through construction, with opportunities to work on a variety of projects and collaborate with professionals across disciplines.

This position involves site layout and grading using Civil 3D, preparing design documents, and supporting construction administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or related field.
• 2–6 years of relevant civil/site design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
• Strong understanding of stormwater design, grading, and utility layout.
• PE or EIT required.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documents, engineering calculations, technical reports, and permit applications.
