Job summary

TAIT, based in Santa Ana, CA, is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to support land-development projects from layout to final plan production. You’ll work with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, perform earthwork calculations, and contribute to drainage studies and utility reports alongside a seasoned engineering team.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with 1–3 years’ field experience.
• Entry level considered.
• E.I.T. preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Transform rough design information into construction documents with AutoCAD.
• Establish horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles, cross sections and perform earthwork calculations.
• Prepare drainage, grading, water, sewer, storm drain, street plans for land development projects.
• Produce engineering drawings to standards.
• Create exhibits and constraint maps using field data and research.
