Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
EIT/EI certification preferred or in progress.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
Knowledge of grading, drainage and stormwater design.
Ability to prepare construction drawings and plans.
Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Take projects through the start-to-finish design process.
Develop site/civil plans and construction documents.
Work on land development projects.
Design site layouts, grading and drainage.
Work with stormwater management.
Design associated site utilities/infrastructure.
Prepare engineering drawings and plans.
Coordinate with project managers, clients, municipalities and other design disciplines.
Apply local/state design standards and regulations.
Support permitting and project approvals.
Review plans and make design revisions as needed.
