Qualifications

  • EIT/EI certification preferred or in progress.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
  • Knowledge of grading, drainage and stormwater design.
  • Ability to prepare construction drawings and plans.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Take projects through the start-to-finish design process.
  • Develop site/civil plans and construction documents.
  • Work on land development projects.
  • Design site layouts, grading and drainage.
  • Work with stormwater management.
  • Design associated site utilities/infrastructure.
  • Prepare engineering drawings and plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, municipalities and other design disciplines.
  • Apply local/state design standards and regulations.
  • Support permitting and project approvals.
  • Review plans and make design revisions as needed.
