Job summary

Bohler's Warren, NJ office is seeking a Design Engineer to grow within a collaborative team shaping land development across the Greater New York/New Jersey Metro Area. You will support site design from concept to completion, working with engineers, PMs, and clients to deliver practical, buildable solutions.

You’ll contribute to design calculations, drafting in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and permitting efforts while expanding your technical and professional skills in a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of site design experience on residential/commercial/industrial projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic design principles.
• Attention to detail and eagerness to learn new tools and methods.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in site layout, grading, utility and stormwater plans.
• Conduct research, prepare reports and support due diligence.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and clients to deliver design packages.
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Support permitting with local and state agencies.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver coordinated design packages
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help solve engineering challenges

Pay Transparency

Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.

The base pay range for this role is $75,000 – $90,000 per year.
