Job summary

Bohler's Greater Harrisburg (Mechanicsburg, PA) office is seeking a Design Engineer - Land Development who’s ready to grow, take on new challenges, and be part of a collaborative team shaping the future of land development projects across Central PA.

In this role, you’ll support site design projects from concept to completion, working closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to create practical, buildable, and creative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of site design experience in residential/commercial/industrial projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic engineering design principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater plans.
• Conduct research and support due diligence investigations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver coordinated design packages.
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies.
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help solve engineering challenges.
