Bohler's Gaithersburg, MD office is seeking a Design Engineer ready to grow, take on challenges, and join a collaborative team shaping land development across Montgomery County. You'll support site design projects from concept to completion, work with engineers, project managers, and clients to create practical, buildable solutions, and perform design calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• 2+ years of site design experience in residential/commercial/industrial projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic engineering design principles.
• Attention to detail with a willingness to learn new tools and methods.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater plans.
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and support due diligence investigations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to deliver coordinated design packages.
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Pay Transparency

Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience. The base pay range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 per year.
