Job summary

Galloway & Company is seeking a civil engineer to support engineering teams on site development and infrastructure projects in Colorado Springs. You will apply engineering principles to assist in planning, grading, erosion control, stormwater systems, utilities, transportation layouts, and fueling infrastructure.

In this role, you will draft with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, collaborate across disciplines, and prepare reports, permits, and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• EI/EIT certification or eligible to take the FE exam within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to draft detailed site plans and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate across disciplines and engage with clients to ensure quality outcomes.
• Prepare improvement plans, technical reports, permit applications, and specifications.
• Support storm drainage, wastewater, potable water, earthwork, and cost estimates.
• Apply problem-solving to correlate data and follow design processes from start to finish.
• Draft civil engineering reports and correspondence with technical writing.
• Contribute to new business development by delivering high-quality work.
