• EIT or FE license preferred.

Job description

McCrone has an opening for a civil engineer with 3-5 years of land development design experience to join our team. We are seeking a motivated self-starter to work on a variety of projects in the commercial, residential, and institutional sectors primarily located in Maryland, with some work in the surrounding Mid-Atlantic states.

Responsibilities:

1. All facets of civil site design including site layout, land grading, stormwater management, roadway, utilities, and sediment and erosion control.
2. Client and consultant interaction while working on projects.
3. Assisting with permit processing and submittals with local and state agencies.

Education and Skills:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Maryland Stormwater Management Design.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals in Engineering (FE) license preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
