Role Description The Civil Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lake Charles, LA. The individual in this position will perform civil and coastal design work for restoration and flood protection projects, including preparing detailed plans, drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting engineering analyses and calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, and supporting project development from concept through construction documentation. The Civil Design Engineer will assist with site assessments, review designs for quality and compliance with applicable codes and standards, and provide technical support during permitting and construction phases. The role also includes collaborating with clients and stakeholders, attending project meetings, and contributing to schedule, budget, and risk management efforts.
