Jobot seeks a highly motivated Associate Attorney with civil defense focus to join its growing firm in California. The role offers hybrid remote opportunities and a path to handling high-profile cases across insurance, personal injury, and commercial law.

You will work on a team that values top-quality legal services, professional growth, and flexible work arrangements, with strong compensation and bonus potential.

Competenze

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in CA or NV in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of litigation experience focused on insurance, personal injury, business, and commercial law.
• Exceptional research and writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Billable hours required: 1850.

Mansioni

• Represent clients in civil defense litigation, including insurance, personal injury, business, and commercial disputes.
• Manage a caseload from inception through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research to develop litigation strategies.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
• Comply with applicable legal standards and regulations.
• Address attorney, client, and firm needs and priorities.
