United States Attorney's Office for the District of New Mexico is hiring civil litigators to support civil defensive cases, including border and immigration matters in Albuquerque, NM. The selected attorneys will partner with federal agencies, manage civil investigations, and prepare legal pleadings for federal court proceedings.

Qualified applicants must hold a J.D., be an active member of the bar, and be U.S. citizens.

Qualificações

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction).
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with federal agencies and law enforcement to manage civil investigations and litigation in federal courts.
• Advise federal agencies on questions of law and Departmental policy.
• Research and draft legal pleadings and be prepared to try cases in federal court.
• Oversee and coordinate the preparation of litigation assignments for legal support staff.
