The Opportunity

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Craft Laborer responsible for preparation, handling, and supplying of materials for assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment
• General cleanup and debris removal, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and unloading
• Provide work direction and guidance to Laborer I, II, Helpers, and Apprentices
• Build effective relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• Perform other duties as assigned

Competencies

• Ability to work with tools and equipment, such as power and hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies
• Strong teamwork orientation
• Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Active listening and effective communication skills, including openness to feedback

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements
• Lifting, carrying, and pushing over 50 lbs with assistance
