Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to provide on-site oversight of civil and underground utility construction for a large-scale combustion turbine project in Menomonie, WI. As Owner's Representative, you will ensure contractor work follows project specs, drawings and applicable codes.

You will coordinate with owners, contractors, engineering and QA/QC teams to verify compliance, monitor QA/QC and safety programs, manage inspections, and support

Qualifications

• 7+ years in heavy civil, power generation, industrial, or large-scale infra construction.
• Experience interpreting drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of QA/QC processes, inspection procedures and testing requirements.
• Identify construction risks and coordinate resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all civil construction and underground utilities for a combustion turbine project.
• Verify contractor work complies with IFC drawings, specifications, project requirements and applicable codes.
• Monitor QA/QC standards, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and hold points.
• Conduct and document owner inspections, escalating non-conformances and risks.
• Oversee installation and testing of underground utilities including duct banks and gas systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineering, QA/QC and project stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient execution.
