You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, development, and implementation of traffic and transportation policies and programs. This includes coordinating transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimizing traffic flow to enhance safety and efficiency.

Willing to travel within the Denver Metro Area, Colorado Springs, and Colorado Mountains Area.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage teams, conduct business development, and execute a variety of road and heavy civil projects.
2. Oversee engineering assignments for municipal clientele.
3. Lead multiple project teams across simultaneous assignments.
4. Manage quality, timeliness, and financial aspects of projects.
5. Supervise and mentor team to include but not limited to Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and technicians.
6. Partner with senior staff in maintaining and developing client relationships.
7. Work with external regional public works directors and other key roles to strategize project pursuits and the use of staff resources.
8. Prepare statements of qualifications and lead interviews for prospective projects.
9. Manage client relationships.

Procore items include, but are not limited to:

• To ensure the PMs have kept project information up to date and current for the duration of all projects in Procore.
• Manage teams to ensure information is inputted for all RFIs, RFPs, and Bulletins from start to finish so all questions have been answered.
• Drawings, Job Set Up Specifications, Submittals, RFIs & RFP, Documents.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Civil Engineer or similar role for 5+ years.
2. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
3. Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, and Bluebeam a plus.
4. Must be familiar with all Microsoft Office programs and bidding software.
5. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
6. We are seeking an individual with 5+ years of experience in the Civil Construction industry.
7. Must have excellent leadership skills, be a strong communicator, and have a take ownership attitude.
8. You must be willing to travel up to 50% of your time.
9. Experience with construction management software such as PROCORE, and Bluebeam a plus.

Experience:
Construction Engineer: 5+ years in Roadway, Highway or Heavy Civil.
General Roadway, Highway, or Heavy Civil for 5+ years ideal.

Work Location: In person.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
2. Registered PE in Colorado plus.
3. 5+ or more years of experience managing a team working in Road, Highway, and Heavy Civil planning and design.
4. Director or senior-level leadership experience.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Working relationships with City Municipalities.

Work Conditions/Physical Demands:

Employees working in this environment may be subject to evening, weekend, holiday, or on-call emergency shifts. Work hours primarily involve 8-hour shifts during weekdays. Approximately 90% performed in the field. Must always maintain a professional appearance and attitude while on the job site.
