What You’ll Accomplish
  • Ensure that infrastructure projects—such as roads, bridges, water systems, and earthworks—are completed on time, within budget, and in strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Project Planning & Strategy: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Site Management: Oversee daily operations on the construction site. Ensure that work progresses according to the schedule and that all activities comply with design specifications.
  • Budget & Resource Allocation: Monitor project finances, track expenses, and manage resource allocation (labor, equipment, and materials) to maximize efficiency and prevent cost overruns.
  • Contractor & Vendor Management: Select, hire, and manage subcontractors and vendors. Negotiate contracts and ensure all external partners meet performance and quality expectations.
  • Health, Safety, & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to all MSHA and Amrize regulations, local building codes, and environmental guidelines. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to maintain a zero-incident safety culture.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality assurance procedures. Review project progress and quality of work continuously, resolving any design or construction issues as they arise.
  • Communication & Reporting: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and local authorities. Provide regular progress reports, lead site meetings, and communicate updates effectively to the executive team.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
