Job summary

Barnard Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled construction laborer to support dirt work, concrete preparation, and material handling at sites across North America. This role emphasizes reliability and physical fitness for demanding outdoor work.

You will assist with digging, spreading, lifting, and site cleanup, perform tasks under supervision, and contribute to timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work long hours (50–70 per week).
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel.
• Use a pick and shovel for site work.
• Lift, carry and support construction materials.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, gravel, and other materials.
• Excavation, trenching, erect scaffolding, remove rubble and debris.
• Perform clean-up work in connection with the above work.
