Orders Construction Company is seeking a motivated Civil Construction Intern to gain hands-on exposure to field operations, project management, safety procedures, and construction practices in West Virginia. The internship offers practical learning across site prep, grading, concrete work, and utility construction.

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or related program preferred.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in both office and outdoor construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers, superintendents, and field personnel with daily construction activities.
• Gain practical experience in site preparation, excavation, grading, concrete work, and utility construction.
• Assist with project documentation, daily reports, and material tracking.
• Observe and participate in jobsite safety practices and procedures.
• Learn to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Support project scheduling, estimating, and quality control activities.
