Sunland Asphalt and Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator in our Civil Construction division to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ. You will operate scrapers, loaders, and Gannon boxes, perform grading, and support asphalt crews to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• 1-3 years Equipment Operator experience with scraper, loader, and gannon preferred.
• Ability to speak read and write English is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate scrapers, loaders, and Gannon boxes.
• Perform rough and finish grading activities.
• Move, spread, and balance soil materials.
• Load and stockpile aggregates and construction materials.
• Prepare subgrade and base for asphalt paving.
• Read grade stakes, plans, and GPS guidance systems.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements.
• Assist with excavation, backfill, and site preparation.
• Support civil and asphalt crews to meet project schedules.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
