Job summary

J+M Infrastructure in Virginia is seeking qualified construction team members for sites in Charlottesville and Lynchburg. You will operate earthmoving equipment to support civil, site and utilities projects, perform demolition, excavation, and earthwork, and help with road and drainage tasks.

Candidates must have strong work ethic, be able to lift 60 lbs, read a tape measure, pass drug screening, and be willing to work Saturdays. CDL preferred and Virginia residency required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience preferred in civil engineering field.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs, squat and climb ladders.
• Must be a Virginia resident and able to work on Charlottesville/Lynchburg sites.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate listed construction equipment on site to support civil, site & utilities projects.
• Assist with demolition, excavation, paving, drainage and related earthwork tasks.
• Read tape measures and follow project specifications.
• Commit to occasional Saturday work and pass drug testing; perform physically demanding tasks.

J+M Infrastructure is a rapidly growing Civil, Site & Utilities Contractor who excels in Civil Construction and Site Development Contracting with an emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage throughout central and southwest Virginia.

We are looking for qualified candidates to work on our construction sites located in Charlottesville and the Lynchburg, VA area.

These candidates must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude and be willing to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

• Wheel and Track Loader

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience preferred in civil engineering field
• Must be able to read a tape measure

• Must pass drug test/screening
• Must be available to work occasional Saturdays
• Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred.
• Concrete experience preferred
