Job summary

Exact Stormwater Management is seeking a Foreman to manage construction site activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. The role reports to the Project Manager and requires CDL credentials, extensive field leadership, and the ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities include directing crews on pond liners, underground detention units, and other engineered solutions, reading blueprints, and enforcing OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Civil Site Construction experience as a Foreman or in a similar role.

• Anticipate project needs and potential problems.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Maintain professional relations and communications with the field crew, on-site contacts and project management team.
• Make process improvements as necessary to meet construction budgets and deadlines.
• Enforce safety compliance per company standards and OSHA requirements, including all required reporting and onsite safety meetings.
• Assist in resource planning, crew training and specialized equipment supervision.
• Communicate with customer to confirm site is ready for install.

The Foreman role manages construction site activities to keep projects on schedule and on budget while reporting to the Project Manager regarding project-specific tasks. The responsibilities of this role include:

• Oversee projects and direct crews in the completion of a variety of installation projects ranging from pond liners to underground detention units, to pavers and biofilters, to engineered product solutions such as Hydroturf.
• 5 + years of Civil Site Construction experience as a Foreman or in a similar role.
• Anticipate project needs and potential problems.
• CDL A preferred
• Ability to utilize a site GPS, laser level, and read blueprints.
• Maintaining professional relations and communications with the field crew, on-site contacts and project management team.
• Make process improvements as necessary to meet construction budgets and deadlines.
• Enforce safety compliance per company standards and OSHA requirements, including all required reporting and onsite safety meetings.
• Assist in resource planning, crew training and specialized equipment supervision.
• Communicate with customer to confirm site is ready for install.
• Experience with installation of Pond Liners, Underground Detention Units, Biofilters and/or Engineered Product Solutions a plus.
• Ability to travel 30% of the time.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Proficient with an excavator, loader and dozer.
• Solid working knowledge of computer programs, including Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements

• Work in all types of adverse weather
• Must have sufficient physical stamina to perform construction type work such as lifting and carrying approximately 90 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing in and around construction equipment for 8-12 hour shifts
• Qualifications and Requirements

• Satisfactory criminal background check for job access
