Job summary

ANCO is seeking a Civil Construction Crew Member to assist with installing underground utilities, foundations, flat work, and access roads. You will collaborate with the crew and crew foreman to complete projects safely and efficiently, at various sites across the region.

The role involves frequent travel, physical work, and lifting up to 75 pounds, with a focus on meeting stringent quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
• Must be able to travel frequently and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing underground utilities, foundations and flat work.
• Help construct access roads and travel to job sites as needed.
• Work safely in all weather conditions with the crew.
• Lift and carry materials up to 75 pounds.

Job Overview

The Civil Construction Crew Member is responsible for assisting in the installation of underground utilities, foundations, flat work, and access roads. The role involves working closely with the crew and site supervisor to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Reports To: Crew Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of underground utilities, foundations, and flat work.
• Help construct access roads.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• A valid Driver’s License
• Basic knowledge and ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Physical ability to work in challenging conditions and lift heavy objects.
