Job summary

Trova Advisory Group in St. Charles, IL is seeking a Bookkeeper/Controller for full-time, onsite work across civil construction projects in the Chicagoland area.

You will manage full-cycle bookkeeping, project billing and costs, and payroll while partnering with project managers and leadership to ensure financial health. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction accounting, knowledge of AIA billing and job costing, and strong Excel with ProContractor/Maxwell experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or construction accounting experience.
• Knowledge of AIA billing, job costing, AP/AR.
• Experience processing union and certified payroll with compliance.
• Familiarity with lien waivers, retainage, change orders, and contract administration.
• Proficiency with ProContractor, Maxwell, and advanced Excel.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with precision.
