Job summary

W3Global in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to develop detailed bids for civil and commercial concrete projects. You will prepare estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, review drawings, and assemble competitive bid packages.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in concrete estimating, reads blueprints, and uses estimating software. You will collaborate with project teams, vendors, and clients, manage multiple bids, and help transition winning

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably civil, heavy civil, or commercial concrete construction.
• Strong understanding of concrete construction and self-performed concrete work.
• Experience with concrete, formwork, rebar, and sitework estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs for civil and commercial concrete projects.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for concrete, formwork, rebar, sitework, and related activities.
• Review drawings and bid documents to determine project scope and prepare bid proposals.
• Solicit and compare pricing from vendors and subcontractors; assist with negotiations.
