Job summary

The Lemoine Company, LLC is seeking an experienced Civil Carpenter to support underground utilities, drainage systems, waterlines, and site concrete for our infrastructure projects. This role focuses on heavy civil construction rather than traditional building carpentry.

You will assist with pipe installation, trenching, grade control, water main taps, and concrete forming and finishing. You will work with the Civil Foreman and field crews to read civil plans, ensure elevations, maintain safety

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a civil construction crew.
• Experience reading civil plans, utility drawings, elevations, details, and specifications.
• Knowledge of trenching, excavation, pipe bedding, backfilling, and compaction procedures.
• OSHA 10, NCCER certification, trench safety training, rigging certification, or excavation Competent Person training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install underground piping for storm drainage, waterlines, and other civil utility systems.
• Assist with trenching and excavation activities for underground utility installation.
• Build, install, brace, and strip concrete forms for civil structures.
• Perform concrete placement, vibration, screeding, leveling, finishing.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, and other civil construction equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and comply with project schedules.
