Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Civil Carpenter Foreman for our Capital Projects Team in Old Ocean, TX. The Foreman will supervise a crew, interpret blueprints and orders, assign tasks, and ensure safety and quality on site.

We value leadership, planning ability, and a proactive attitude toward coordinating multiple tasks while maintaining production standards. This role reports to the General Foreman or Supervisor and follows company safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum four years of experience as a Mechanic A/Journeyman.
• Ability to lead others in the same craft.
• Basic leadership/mentorship skills.
• Able to plan and coordinate multiple tasks.
• NCCER Crew Leader Certification preferred.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy.
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Upholds safety guidelines to all employees under direction; interprets orders; assigns duties and coordinates work.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned construction workers.
• Inspects work for adherence to company standards and trains workers as needed.
• Maintains time, production, and other records; studies schedules for manpower requirements.
