G3 Engineering & Surveying in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Civil CADD Technician to transform concepts into detailed plans from design through construction. You will work with Engineers and Project Managers using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related tools to produce precise drawings and documentation.

The role blends design, drafting, fieldwork, problem-solving, and collaboration, with opportunities to grow technical skills on meaningful projects and contribute beyond daily drafting tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years demonstrated experience
• Associate degree or equivalent experience
• Hands-on skill with Civil 3D and related design software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• AutoCAD certification is a plus
• Solid communicator with contractors, clients, and coworkers

Responsibilities

• Create accurate engineering drawings, plans and contract documents
• Support Engineers and Project Managers with design development and project documentation
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers and stakeholders
• Conduct fieldwork, data collection, and site observations
• Develop solutions for various engineering and construction projects
• Maintain and troubleshoot CADD software and stay current with industry practices
• Tackle special projects to expand skills beyond drafting
