Job summary

Core States Group in Kent, WA is seeking a Civil CAD Technician to prepare civil drawings, plans and exhibits using AutoCAD and Civil 3D under civil engineers and project managers.

You’ll set up drawings, prepare site plans, research design standards, create construction documents, and coordinate with agencies. Revit certification is a plus; strong proficiency with Bluebeam and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical School or Associate degree in Civil Drafting or related field.
• Autodesk Revit certification is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for site development.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, including markups and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Set up drawings per company standards for blocks, layers, fonts.
• Prepare site plans, aerial overlays, maps and exhibits.
• Research civil design standards and agency requirements.
• Prepare preliminary and final construction documents.
• Update drawings for design changes and redlines.
• Assemble plan sets for submission to agencies (PDF/Hard Copy).
• Quality control, spell checking and revision tracking.
