Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers in Seattle seeks a Civil CAD Drafter/Technician to support site development projects across the Pacific Northwest. You will create, manage, and maintain drawings with a strong eye for presentation and detail while collaborating with engineers and designers from day one.

You should be proficient in AutoCAD, have Civil 3D knowledge, and be capable of working independently or in a team, meeting project timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience or completion of a CAD technical education program.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with attention to drawing presentation and accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team, with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Research jurisdictional codes and manuals to determine drafting and CAD requirements.
• Create project drawings and exhibit deliverables.
• Apply established company standards and maintain project file organization.
• Prepare and edit plans, profiles, sections, and details from sketches and redlines.
• Coordinate with engineers and team members and plot/scan drawings.
• For CAD Technicians, model and use Civil 3D design elements.
