Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Tampa is seeking a Civil CADD Technician to join their site/civil engineering team. You will design land development projects including residential subdivisions and commercial projects. Responsibilities include preparing zoning plans, drainage, grading plans, and collaborating with the team to solve project issues. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience and is proficient in AutoCAD, with Civil 3D and ArcGIS being a plus. A full benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years professional work experience.
• Desire to design Land Development projects.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ArcGIS a plus.
• Experience in a civil firm desired.
• Be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to work and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and team members.
• Self-starter, able to perform duties independently as well as in a team environment.

Full Job Description

As a CADD Tech, you will work with a site/civil engineering team designing Land Development projects including mixed-use developments, townhomes, single-family, multi-family residential subdivisions, and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepares zoning plans for submittal to government agencies and municipalities.
• Works with the designer in developing construction plans.
• Prepares drainage, grading, and roadway plans.
• Prepares conceptual layouts.
• Updates plans with notes and legal descriptions.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and suggest solutions to problems to complete the project.

Requirements
