Job summary

WSB Engineering invites applications for an Engineering Specialist / CAD Technician to join our Tulsa team. You will develop civil engineering designs under licensed supervision and prepare construction documents for municipal projects, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, CAD proficiency (Civil 3D preferred), and the ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in civil design or engineering.
• Experience with the City of Tulsa is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD design software (Civil 3D preferred or similar tools).
• Familiarity with design platforms such as AutoCAD, Bentley, ArcGIS.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs under the guidance of a licensed engineer.
• Prepare and revise technical drawings and construction documents for municipal projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines to ensure consistency and accuracy across project deliverables.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure plans and specifications are complete, accurate, and constructible.
• Support project managers with conceptual, preliminary, and final design efforts, including cost estimates and proposals.
• Participate in client and team meetings to support project delivery and address technical questions.
