Job summary

CMA Architects & Engineers in Guaynabo, PR is seeking a CAD Operator to join our civil design team. You will draft detailed civil drawings, update construction layouts, and support engineers with as-built documentation.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and strong drafting skills. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organized project records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in drafting/engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years in CAD drafting or civil design roles.
• Hands-on AutoCAD experience required; Civil 3D and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD software to prepare detailed civil design drawings and assemblies.
• Develop and update construction drawings and as-built layouts from field data.
• Interpret sketches and documents to produce accurate layouts and drawings.
• Analyze requirements and suggest improvements for efficiency and value.
• Coordinate with engineers and consultants as needed.
• Provide timely drafting support and maintain project documentation.
