Job summary

Stellar Talent LLC is seeking Civil CAD Designers to support a variety of civil engineering projects, including residential subdivisions and land development. You will apply AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, collaborate with engineers and designers, and advance drawings from concept to construction.

Ideal candidates have a technical drafting degree or equivalent experience and are proficient with maps and technical drawings, thriving in a multi-project environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in civil drafting or 2–5 years without a degree.
• Strong reading of maps, surveys and technical drawings.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and detail oriented skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D based on engineers' specifications.
• Prepare accurate construction documents and engineering drawings.
• Develop visual representations to support project presentations and approvals.
• Incorporate feedback from engineers, designers and clients to refine designs.
• Work on residential subdivisions, land development, site planning, grading, drainage and erosion control.
• Contribute to projects involving sanitary systems, flood control, and other civil structures.

We're hiring multiple Civil CAD Designers to work on a diverse range of civil engineering projects, including residential subdivisions, land development, site planning, and public infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D based on specifications provided by engineers, senior designers, and clients.
• Prepare accurate, detailed construction documents and engineering drawings.
• Develop visual representations to support project presentations and approval processes.
• Incorporate feedback from engineers, designers, and clients to refine designs.
• Work on residential subdivisions, land development, site planning, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control.
• Contribute to projects involving sanitary systems, flood control, recreational facilities, and other civil engineering structures.

Required Qualifications

• A technical degree in drafting or engineering technology with 2–3 years of relevant experience, or 2–5 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience in civil engineering design, site planning, grading and drainage, sanitary systems, erosion control, and land development.
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to read and interpret maps, surveys, and technical drawings.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of local and state building codes and regulations.
• Previous leadership or management experience.
