Job summary

Jackola Engineering & Architecture in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Civil CAD Design Technician to join our collaborative design team on land development and infrastructure projects. You will develop, maintain, and manage AutoCAD Civil 3D files, provide technical support across disciplines, and ensure accurate, efficient deliverables within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

AA/AS in BIM/CAD or related field from an accredited program.
Minimum 5 years of AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design experience.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with civil engineering design, surveying or infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage project-specific AutoCAD Civil 3D files for civil engineering and surveying projects.
Provide AutoCAD Civil 3D technical support for civil studio team members throughout the project development.
Assist with project setup, quality assurance, and quality control to meet requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, model, and document civil engineering designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Support the development and maintenance of CAD standards, workflows, and best practices.
Serve as a technical resource within a CAD discipline and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, surveyors, and designers to deliver accurate project documents.
