This opportunity with Black & Veatch offers the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams within the Government & Communities Market Sector, supporting Water & Industrial Water projects and building critical infrastructure for today’s and tomorrow’s challenges. Civil professionals contribute to site development efforts, including grading and drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities.
The Virtual Design & Data Solutions (VDDS) Associate Engineering Technician plays a key role in supporting the development of high-quality engineering deliverables for these complex infrastructure projects. Under general supervision, this position performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices, with a focus on creating and modifying site development plans using industry‑standard design tools, such as Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation. Basic Civil3d experience is required with use of pipe/pressure networks, proposed grading surfaces and plan and profile development.
