Job summary

Jacobs in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Civil 3D technician to transform engineering concepts into accurate design documents for ports and maritime projects. You will develop drawings and 3D models, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure CAD standards are followed.

The role requires an associate degree or technical certificate, proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD, and the ability to model surfaces and utility networks.

Qualifications

• Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD to prepare civil engineering drawings and models.
• Experience developing 3D surface models including grading and earthworks calculations.
• Experience developing 3D utility models and producing plans and profiles for pipe networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil design drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Prepare site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, utility plans, alignments, profiles, corridors, surfaces, and earthwork documentation.
• Coordinate design information across civil, structural, coastal, geotechnical, and other project disciplines.
