Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Civil CAD Technician in Texas to support our civil engineering projects. You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed construction drawings, interpret plans, and translate redline sketches into accurate site layouts and profiles.

Work closely with civil engineers to produce grading plans, storm sewer, water, and sanitary sewer drawings. Follow company standards and collaborate across disciplines to ensure timely, precise deliverables.

Qualifications

Experience in drafting civil engineering construction drawings.
Ability to interpret and transfer as-built records.
Familiarity with drafting standards and layer control.

Responsibilities

Using AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare detailed civil engineering construction drawings.
Reading and interpreting engineering construction drawings.
Work from detail sketches or red lines to prepare plans and profiles.
Draft drawings showing topographical data and site work documents (grading, storm, water, sewer).
Ensure compliance with established company drafting standards (layers, styles, file naming).
Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
